Our trade is painting. Our contribution doesn’t have to be.
The Whitsundays is where we live, work and raise our families. It’s where Coastal Brush was built, and it’s a community that has supported us along the way.
Giving back has always happened pretty naturally for us.
Sometimes it’s sponsoring a local team. Sometimes it’s donating materials, lending our trade to a community space, supporting opportunities for young people or getting involved in environmental initiatives.
And a lot of the time, it’s much simpler than that.
It’s showing up.
Because community organisations don’t always need a cheque.
Sometimes they need a trade.
Sometimes they need someone creative.
Sometimes they need something made.
And sometimes they just need a few more hands.
That’s what GOOD WORKS* is about.
Our time. Our skills. Our hands. Put to good use.
Throughout the year, we welcome local not-for-profits, sporting clubs, schools, community groups and initiatives to tell us what they have going on and where they could use some help.
It could be painting or refreshing a community space.
But it could just as easily be helping at a working bee, building something for an event or school play, planting trees, cleaning up our coastline, setting up tables, painting faces, handing out water at a sporting event, packing down after a fundraiser or simply turning up with a team ready to get stuck in.
We’re painters, apprentices, makers, problem-solvers and creative people.
We have tools.
We have practical skills.
We have ideas.
And, occasionally, we have a few spare pairs of hands.
We won’t be able to take on every request, and GOOD WORKS* isn’t limited to any particular type of project. We simply want to know what’s happening in our community so that, when something feels like a good fit and we have the capacity to help, we can.
