Coastal Brush Community Paint Bank
Giving good paint another purpose.
Painting creates surplus material. Sometimes it’s a few litres left after a project. Sometimes it’s a perfectly usable product or colour that simply doesn’t have another immediate home.
Rather than allowing usable paint to become waste, the Coastal Brush Community Paint Bank redirects suitable surplus coatings from our projects to local community organisations and projects where we can.
The Paint Bank may be able to assist local:
- sporting and community clubs
- not-for-profit organisations
- volunteer groups
- community facilities
- environmental projects
- youth and creative programs
- community events
- working bees
- other worthwhile local projects
How It Works
Paint available through the Community Paint Bank is surplus material generated through Coastal Brush projects and operations.
That means availability changes constantly.
We can’t promise a particular brand, colour, product or quantity — but if your project can be flexible, there may be something in the Paint Bank that can help.
Colour-flexible projects are particularly encouraged.
PLEASE NOTE
The Community Paint Bank is a reuse initiative rather than a retail paint supply service. Products, colours and quantities are subject entirely to what suitable surplus material is available.
Requests are assessed against available stock and the intended application. Coastal Brush may decline to provide a product where we do not believe it is appropriate for the proposed use.
The Paint Bank does not accept public paint drop-offs unless specifically arranged by Coastal Brush.
For larger community projects, we may occasionally identify opportunities that could also be considered under GOOD, WORKS*, Coastal Brush’s broader community contribution initiative.
